Meet Ashrita Shetty - the South Indian Actress who is set to tie knot with Indian Cricketer Manish Pandey

In 2010, at the age of 17, Ashrita Shetty stepped into the Glamour World by participating in The Times of India's 'Clean and Clear Fresh Face' - a beauty contest.

As the winner of the beauty contest... Ashrita became the face of the brand. 

In 2012, she made her entry into the film industry with her debut movie called Telikeda Bolli, a Tulu film. While she worked on this project, she continued appearing in several television commercials.

Her work was soon noticed by directors like Vetrimaaran and Manimaaran approached her for the lead role in the film Udhayam NH4. 

Although she was offered a couple of Hindi films before Udhayam NH4, she did not consider acting as a serious career option until this project along.
