National Panchayati Raj Day : 24th April

Did You Know : In India, April 24th is celebrated as National Panchayati Raj Day every year. 

This day marks the passing of the Constitution (73rd Amendment) Act, 1992 that came into force with effect from 24 April 1993. 

Our Panchayati Raj institutions are the backbones of our Democratic system and needs to be #strengthened further. Greetings on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day, which is a celebration of Democracy at the grass-root level.
